“Compared to us Germans you are more easy-going and relaxed. I went into a restaurant at 19.00 and it was empty. I left at 22.00 and it was starting to fill up.”
The World Cup winner pushed to leave Arsenal because he wanted more playing time and explained how important that is to him.
“What motivates me? The pleasure of being in contact with the football. In two years it could all be over and I don’t want to waste a single day. I don’t do this for money.”
