Vincenzo Montella saw a “lack of concentration” despite Fiorentina’s 3-0 win at Dinamo Minsk, but Micah Richards is injured.

Alberto Aquilani, Josip Ilicic and Federico Bernardeschi were on target in Belarus, so the Viola are now three points clear at the top of Group K.

“It was important to win today and consolidate first place,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“We put in a good performance, but allowed far too many chances to the opponents due to a lack of concentration. Those are mistakes we should never make and we have got to improve.”

Bernardeschi scored his second goal in two Europa League appearances, but Montella again urged caution.

“He can play as a centre-forward, as he showed today, or a support striker. He needs to improve and we cannot ask for everything right away from a 20-year-old. We must have patience and he is eager to learn.

“Lazzari came off the bench with the right attitude and I am happy with his performance, as he deserves it, despite the fact it’s not easy for me to include him in the training sessions.

“We wanted a victory today, a clean sheet, a good performance and no injuries. Unfortunately, Richards needs to be evaluated, as he had a muscular problem that he’s suffered from in the past.”
