The club director and daughter of President Silvio Berlusconi is working alongside Adriano Galliani at San Siro and seen to be leading a change of line behind the scenes.
“My main goal is to try to innovate, because clubs are now actual companies and football is a business,” considered Berlusconi to Vogue Japan.
“I want to show that I am available to the people around me, and not behind a closed door.
“In football, there is no difference between people, no social differences, no racial differences, there are no political differences nor economic differences.
“Football allows everyone to be the same – a manager who lives in London may suffer and despair as much as a child in Soweto, those who live in Lima or the workers on a Tokyo subway.”
The 29-year-old Swiss-born executive also spoke on January’s Japanese arrival Honda, and his impact so far at the Giuseppe Meazza.
“We believe that he is a player who can make a difference. We needed a playmaker that was adaptable from a tactical point of view.
“Milan had followed Honda for a while and he is a playmaker that responds to this need.
“In addition to this, within a few days he has become a point of reference for others in the dressing room.”
