“I’m getting used to hitting the woodwork. It means I’ll just have to keep improving on my free-kicks,” the Bologna star shrugged on Rai Sport.
“We did well, I’m not sure how we ended up trailing within 10 minutes, but after the break we had a dozen scoring opportunities.

“I’m also disappointed the referee gave two minutes of injury time when there should’ve been 15.”
‘Alino’ Diamanti is one of the favourites to be in the 23-man squad going to Brazil for the World Cup.
“Whenever I come here, I keep my head down, work with a lot of humility and am at the disposal of the group whether I play or not. That’s the only way to be on international duty.”
The former Hammers creative midfielder was pleased to play at Craven Cottage again in last night’s international friendly.
“I remember losing here with West Ham. I’d forgotten that I also hit the woodwork in that game! It’s all part of the sport.
“It was nice being back in this atmosphere, especially as almost all the fans were Italian tonight.”
