Italian international Federico Balzaretti says he intends to end his playing career with current club Roma.
The defender joined the Giallorossi in the summer from Palermo and he has no plans on being at the centre of another transfer.
“I want to end my career here,” the left-back noted. “There is a very serious project at this club and I’m honoured to be a part of this squad.”
The 31-year-old put pen to paper on a contract until June 2015 in the summer.
Balzaretti, who could be set for a few weeks on the sidelines with injury, has appeared in 19 League games for the capital club.
