Ciro Immobile has told Juventus they can wait, as Genoa are his main priority, and reassured Zdenek Zeman’s Roma.

The Italy Under-21 international is co-owned by Genoa and Juve, but is spending this season at Marassi.

“I was obviously pleased to hear Juventus director Beppe Marotta express words of respect for me, but right now I am at Genoa and it would not be right for me to say certain things,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“The club and the Coach are putting their full faith in me, then at the end of the season they will decide what to do.”

The 22-year-old shot to fame last term at Pescara under boss Zeman, who is currently struggling to get going with Roma.

“Roma need to find the right balance, just as we did at Pescara. If you follow Zeman’s orders, then you cannot help but do well. It just takes a little time, which is normal.

“At the start we too struggled with his training methods and tactics.”
