The midfielder has been recalled to the Giro Azzurro, almost three years after winning two caps for Marcello Lippi.
“I was young when I first got into the squad,” stated the 25-year-old. “But I am now back with a lot more experience.”
Candreva joined the capital club in January and, after initial difficulties, he’s become a key player for the Biancocelesti.
“I’m happy to be in the squad and that is mainly down to boss Vladimir Petkovic,” continued the former Juventus” data-scaytid=”9″>Juventus man.
“He’s got the best qualities out of me. I’ve been around a few clubs over recent years and I needed continuity.
“My position? I’ve been used out wide on the left and right and I like being played in that role.”
