“The truth is that this team has done some great work,” he noted after the wins over Milan and then Siena.
“But we shouldn’t elude the supporters. The objective for this season is to comfortably survive – once we’ve done that then we’ll see what else is on offer.”
The midfielder returned to Serie A action yesterday, after an absence of seven years, following his move from Spain’s Malaga.
