Yuto Nagatomo is confident Inter “are ready for the Europa League game with Hajduk Split” on Thursday.
The full-back is in the squad named for the first leg of the qualifying round in Croatia.
“We are ready for the Europa League game with Hajduk Split,” he told Inter Channel.
“We need to win right from the first leg in Split. Personally I am in good shape and ready to run. Running is my job.”
The Japanese international is in the squad, but stars Douglas Maicon, Julio Cesar and Giampaolo Pazzini were left out.
This confirms the trio are on the market and not part of Coach Andrea Stramaccioni’s plans.
Meanwhile, Stramaccioni released a statement on the official Inter website confirming he has no presence on social media sites such as Twitter or Facebook, after quotes attributed to him started circulating.
