Lazio defender Andre Dias has praised new Coach Vladimir Petkovic’s training methods at the capital club.
The 48-year-old tactician was hired last month to replace Edy Reja and, during his first week of pre-season with the Aquile, has left an impression on centre-back Dias.
“The Coach has a great desire to do well. I’ve been at Lazio for two-and-a-half years and I’ve never worked as hard as we are this year,” the Brazilian told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

“The Coach has a great desire to do well. I’ve been at Lazio for two-and-a-half years and I’ve never worked as hard as we are this year,” the Brazilian told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“The mister wants a fast and compact squad that’s above all, aggressive. I’m sure that before the beginning of the campaign, we’ll be absolutely ready.
“We hope to do better than we did last year. We have a new Coach, we have players of quality, and we hope to finally arrive in a Champions’ League place.”
The club finished last season two points off the third and final Champions League qualification spot in Serie A.
