The Brazilian-born Italian international signed a six-month deal with the club in January after ending his Juventus nightmare.

The 31-year-old only scored one goal in 13 games for the outfit and it is unclear where he will be playing next term once his deal expires in June.

“I’m waiting to speak with the President to understand what Fiorentina’s intentions are,” he told Radio Blu.

“If they tell me that I am no longer in their plans then I will take a look at what is available, but I’ll just wait for now.

“I’m not hiding the fact that I’d like to be a part of the new Fiorentina and I don’t think the club need a lot to get back to the results of a few years ago.”

The Viola have had a tough season seeing as they spent most of it fighting to maintain their Serie A status.

“It’s not nice to see Fiorentina in a relegation fight, but I think it was just one of those seasons when everything went wrong,” Amauri added.

The former Palermo and Chievo man has been linked with a return to former club Parma.
