Serse Cosmi warns Lecce that tomorrow’s game with Siena “will be dominated by the psychological aspect, but it’s not the only one.”

The two relegation rivals go head-to-head in the Sunday lunchtime game, which kicks off at 11.30am UK time.

“Tomorrow’s game will be dominated by the psychological aspect, but it’s not the only one,” said Cosmi.

“There are also tactical, technical and of course individual situations that all go towards deciding the result.

“The team will be strong if it can keep control throughout these various elements. At this point, we cannot delay our meeting with a victory, especially as the other sides in the relegation race are really flying.

“If I said Siena are the toughest of the relegation dogfights, then it would be banal. The Tuscans are always in the game, even in defeat, and it’s no coincidence they are doing so well in Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

“I hope the fans can be supportive and positive, the kind of atmosphere that really pushes you on.”

Cosmi pointed out that Leonardo Miglionico and Gennaro Delvecchio will require a late fitness test, as they are suffering from flu symptoms.

Lecce squad: Gabrieli, Di Matteo, Esposito, Giandonato, Cuadrado, Obodo, Corvia, Bojinov, Seferovic, Miglionico, Di Michele, Giacomazzi, Piatti, Muriel, Petrachi, Blasi, Brivio, Oddo, Carrozzieri, Benassi, Delvecchio, Bertolacci
