Bologna have intensified their efforts to sign Jean-Francois Gillet from Bari after losing Emiliano Viviano.

Inter took total ownership of the Italian international goalkeeper on Saturday after the Rossoblu made an error in the blind auction paperwork.

With Viviano no longer at the Stadio Dall'Ara, the club have identified Gillet as his ideal replacement following Bari's relegation from the top flight.

Siena and Serie B side Torino are very keen too, but Bologna are desperate to sign the Belgium international.

The custodian was signed by Bari in September 2000 and he's been at the club ever since – apart from a loan spell at Treviso in 2003-04.
