Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini insists he is taking the club's Europa League commitments very seriously.
Speaking ahead of this evening's clash with PSV Eindhoven, the Italy international denied claims that Sampdoria would be taking the competition lightly.
"I have a lot of desire to play in Europe," Pazzini said.
"There is a positive past with PSV on my part," he added, referring to a goal he scored for Fiorentina.
"I hope that it brings me good luck."

Reflecting on Sampdoria's failure to qualify for the Champions League group stages, he said: "The defeat to Werder Bremen in the preliminary round still burns, but my condition today is certainly not that of a month ago.
"However, don't tell me that Samp have now become dependent on Pazzini."
