Milan set an ultimatum to Boca Juniors for Rodrigo Bentancur, but it’s rumoured Juventus are angry with the Rossoneri.
The Bianconeri have an option to buy the 19-year-old midfielder for €9.4m that must be activated by April 20, 2017.
This deal was struck as part of the move taking Carlos Tevez to Boca last year.
It’s believed the option will be just €7.5m if Juve activate the option this summer.

Milan have offered considerably more than that sum, reportedly €12m plus €3m in performance-related bonuses.
However, Boca are dragging their heels because they want to keep Bentancur for one more season.
According to SportItalia, there is another reason for the hold-up, as Juventus are angry that Milan did not first alert them to the bid for Bentancur.
It was well known that Juve had an option to buy the player, so the Bianconeri expected a phone call to warn them of the developing situation.
As that did not happen, the Turin giants are in no mood to make the deal easy for Milan CEO Adriano Galliani.
The whole situation will come to a head tonight, as Sky Sport Italia claim Milan set an ultimatum for Boca to accept their offer or drop Bentancur entirely.
