Sky Sport reports that Virtus would be happy to sign the Doria playmaker and may contact his agent Giuseppe Bozzo today. Tuttosport also reports that a deal for the transfer is imminent.
Cassano is not on very good terms with president Massimo Ferrero and it is expected he will not remain at Sampdoria another year.
