“From last year I’ve been working with Mauro on everything. I worked out his renewal with Inter last year, which went very well.
“There are always teams tracking Icardi and that seems normal to me. The biggest chaos from a change would be for me, as I’d have to move four children, change schools and city.
“I am the first person who wants to stay because we are all Inter fans, we are a family who love living in Milan. We’ve got everything we want here.
“I am in the middle of this situation to find an agreement with Inter that is fair. It can happen than someone calls you, as you might be called up by a different radio station.
“Mauro loves Inter, he is not interested in money, just the jersey and staying here. This is why last year we sold 50 per cent of his image rights to Inter. I sorted out this situation in order to let him stay.
“As of today, the situation is that there was a verbal agreement that when Inter got a bit more money, they’d sort out his contract.
“At times I have meetings and speak with people without Mauro even knowing about it, but I know what he wants: to stay at Inter.
“I am trying to reach an agreement to stay here and in fact to extend the contract with Inter by another year.”
