Napoli will bench Gonzalo Higuain against Villareal and look for tactical alternatives to the Argentinian.
After the close 1-0 loss to Juventus, the Partenopei go right back into the pitch with a Europa League clash on Thursday against the Yellow Submarine.
La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere del Mezzogiorno agree that Sarri will rest Higuain for the game, not only to favour the player's condition, but also to find tactical alternatives to his game.

According to the Gazzetta, Sarri realised in the game against Juve that his team is over-reliant on the Argentinian, and that it is sufficient to block his access to passes for the whole eleven to be neutralised.
The Corriere reports of Sarri's longest meeting with the team yet, yesterday as he sat with them and talked for half an hour.
Sarri is expected to field Manolo Gabbiadini instead of Higuain, with other players being rested too. Raul Albiol or Kalidou Koulibaly may surrender their spot to Vlad Chiriches, Marek Hamsik will be replaced by David Lopez, and Dries Mertens will take over from Lorenzo Insigne.
