La Gazzetta dello Sport believes that Inter have raised their offer for Kondogbia to €27m, putting them at an advantage over the Rossoneri who are believed to have halted at €25m.
The newspaper believes that Milan have stalled their interest in the midfielder in order to study other options, but that this could just be a tactical move before a late surge for his signature.
Juventus are also believed to be monitoring the situation and could yet become a third Italian option for Kondogbia.
Gazzetta reports that Imbula, 22, is also of interest to the two Milan clubs and that the Rossoneri have inquired for more information about the player to his club Marseille.
The paper says that Inter have already met with the player’s representatives to understand his valuation, which is believed to stand at around €15m.
