Alessio Cerci is holding up the swap deal with Fernando Torres to Atletico Madrid as he’d prefer Inter to Milan.
Milan Channel – the official television station of the San Siro side – announced on Christmas Eve that there were “advanced negotiations” for the straight swap of loans.
Cerci would come to Serie A for 18 months and Torres see out the remaining 18 months of his loan deal from Chelsea with Atleti instead of Milan.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Cerci’s personal demands are the only things delaying this move becoming official.
As and Marca both insist there is “total agreement” between Atletico Madrid and Torres, who will return to his first club.
However, Cerci had his heart set on joining Inter after Roberto Mancini publicly confirmed he was a transfer target.
More importantly, Inter would guarantee a mandatory buy-out clause at the end of the season, giving Cerci a permanent switch.
It is now suggested in Spanish media that Atletico Madrid gave ex-Torino winger Cerci a very stark warning: accept the Milan move or spend the next six months in the stands.
Atleti and Milan are also furious and threatening to report Inter to FIFA for contacting Cerci directly.
