“We are lacking in attacking wingers. We need players who are fast, technically extraordinary, who score goals and can also defend. If we don’t find someone like that, then we may as well not bring anyone else in,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

Inter have today been linked with an offer for Tottenham’s Aaron Lennon, who appears to fit the bill.
“It’s not easy to find players, but if you go and find someone who is struggling for first team places and would benefit from playing elsewhere for six months to earn his place on international duty, then all parties can be satisfied with a loan spell.”
It has also been suggested Guarin and Vidic could be released during the January transfer window.
“At this moment these are the defenders and I’m sticking with them. They are improving and are one of the few areas of the team it’s generally best not to fiddle with.
“Vidic will improve his fitness levels, he has experience and has won everything in his career, so if he deserves to play, then he will.
“Guarin is an Inter player, he is an important player and we think he can improve a great deal, so there won’t be a problem.”
As for Palacio, he has yet to score this season and complained of an on-going ankle injury. Would it not be better to rest him until he has fully recovered?
“If we’d had numerous strikers available, we certainly would’ve given Palacio the chance to rest and recover. I think he had a great game against Chievo and the goal will come soon. He will be able to rest and work on that ankle over the Christmas break and hopefully return in better shape.”
