Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has confirmed Liverpool have not made any contact regarding a move for Mario Balotelli.
The Premier League side were reported as having lodged a bid of €22m for the player, who has been linked with a move away from the Rossoneri all summer.
However, Ansa has now quoted Galliani as saying the club are not locked in negotiations for the Italy forward, though he did admit there was still time left in the transfer window for this to change.
“At the moment there has been no offer from Liverpool from Balotelli, so there are no negotiations,” Galliani commented.
“But the transfer market finishes on September 1, so we’ll see.”
