It’s reported Inter President Erick Thohir and Coach Walter Mazzarri discussed Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.
The patron flew in from Indonesia this week and was in the stands at San Siro for Thursday’s disappointing 0-0 draw with Udinese.
Thohir, Mazzarri and several club directors including Marco Fassone and Piero Ausilio held a meeting on Friday evening to discuss transfer strategy for next season.
According to Sport Mediaset, the main subject of conversation was Spanish hitman Torres.
It is believed Inter hope to take Torres on loan from Chelsea if Jose Mourinho drafts in a big money forward over the summer.
Chelsea’s chances of getting back much of the £50m paid for him in 2011 are slim, as the former Liverpool star has struggled to prove himself at Stamford Bridge.
Torres has also turned 30 and it is reported Thohir has some reservations over whether he is a wise investment for the Nerazzurri.
