Cesare Prandelli has mused on how Mario Balotelli needs ‘much love’ and that Clarence Seedorf is ‘saying the right things’ about the Milan forward.
However, the 23-year-old can still count on the support of his national team Coach.
“Balotelli will learn. He will need much love, he is a guy who we grant much to and who for Milan is important,” Prandelli has reflected to reporters today.
“I believe that Seedorf has said the right things and that with his help we can pull out the good things that Mario has inside.
“Seedorf is a person who brings excitement, he has capacity to communicate and is a leader. He has never been trivial as a player and he will not be as a Coach, he will have a great career.
“With Balotelli, Seedorf has used the right words. I’m not sure if he will have a lot of patience for him, but definitely a lot of love, because he is a boy who we hold very dear.
“Will he never learn? He will learn, he will learn…”
Prandelli was also asked about the ongoing title race in Serie A, which has seen Juventus’ lead over Roma cut to six points after Week 21’s results.
“Juventus are the team to beat and has everything to go again, but Roma are playing a very pleasant game and are determined.
“Hopefully it will be a thrilling championship until the end.”
