Wesley Sneijder has broken Inter’s Twitter embargo to send a message to fans, confirming he has “not been called up for tomorrow!!!”
The midfielder had been told to stop posting on his Twitter account after breaking the rules on communication last month.
It seemed to be because he made it clear that he was not injured and therefore out of the squad due to other reasons.

The midfielder had been told to stop posting on his Twitter account after breaking the rules on communication last month.
It seemed to be because he made it clear that he was not injured and therefore out of the squad due to other reasons.
However, this afternoon Sneijder posted a tweet that was half in Italian, half in Dutch, referring to Thursday’s Europa League tie against Neftci.
“For those who asked if I am called up for tomorrow, no I am not called up!!!” he wrote in Italian.
“Merry Christmas to all the Dutch out there…” he added in Dutch.
It remains to be seen whether Sneijder will be fined for this latest breach, as he is in the middle of tense contract renegotiations with Inter.
