Roma director general Franco Baldini has confirmed that Roma are just days away from confirming Zdenek Zeman as their new Coach.
The Giallorossi were forced to move for a new tactician this summer when Spaniard Luis Enrique chose to walk away from the American-funded project at Trigoria at the end of last season.
The capital outfit have been in talks with Zeman all week and, following on from confirmation that the Coach will announce his decision on Saturday, Roma have also suggested that his arrival is imminent.
“We met with Zeman thanks to the President of Pescara, we have held detailed discussions and I can say that there is reasonable optimism,” Baldini told Roma Channel on Friday.
“There remain only minimal details. Ruling out any surprises, this story is destined to end in the best way in the coming days.”
