It is expected to be a loan for €10m with option to buy at the end of the season for €45m.
However, there is reportedly another clause allowing the Bianconeri to extend the loan for another €10m for the 2021-22 campaign.
The option to buy in June 2022 would therefore be for €35m.
Morata of course already had a two-year loan at Juventus from 2014-16, in which he scored 27 goals and provided 18 assists in 93 competitive matches.
That loan cost the Bianconeri €20m and Real Madrid activated their buy-back option for €30m in the summer of 2016.
Since then, the 27-year-old has gone on to Chelsea for €66m, then Atletico Madrid for €62m.
Atleti are letting him go because they have agreed terms with Luis Suarez, who is a free agent after terminating his contract with Barcelona.
