According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Laxalt is the main target and could make the move to the Stadio Tardini on loan with obligation to buy for a total of €12m.
The main issue remains his salary, which is currently €1.8m per year net until June 2022, so the Uruguay international would have to spread the cost out over a longer contract to push the move through.
Strinic joined Milan as a free agent last summer from Sampdoria, but did not play at all in a Rossoneri jersey.
He was diagnosed with a cardiac irregularity and kept out for three months, then had a series of muscular and ankle injuries when trying to get back into shape.
