Sassuolo are reportedly keen on replacing Kevin-Prince Boateng with Nice and Italy striker Mario Balotelli.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Sassuolo could hijack Olympique Marseille’s negotiations for Balotelli, which have progressed but still have not been finalised.
SuperMario has not scored in 10 Ligue 1 appearances for Nice this season and was frozen out in December following a series of rows with Coach Patrick Vieira.

Failing that, Di Marzio believes the Neroverdi could go for Gianluca Caprari, who is not a guaranteed starter at Samp, despite scoring five goals in just 11 matches’ worth of game time.
Furthermore, the 25-year-old is capable of playing out wide as well as through the middle.
