Milan have officially sworn in Ivan Gazidis as their new CEO, describing his appointment as ‘a clear sign’ of their ambitions.
Gazidis was appointed to Milan’s board on Wednesday morning during a shareholders’ meeting at the club’s offices.
“We’re happy with the appointment of Gazidis,” read an official statement.
“It’s a clear sign that the new owners have important objectives they wish to achieve in the medium to long term.

The 53-year-old, who arrives from Arsenal, has signed a contract until June 30, 2020, taking him through the term of the current board.
