22 however, have been kept in the country after reportedly being convicted for resisting arrest after signing a confession that was written in Polish.

A spokesman for the prosecutor’s office Przemyslaw Nowak has claimed this evening that 12 of those tifosi have been released.

“The fans admitted the facts,” he said. “They have accepted probation and have pledged to respect not to attend matches involving Polish teams.”

The future of the remaining 10 supporters is not known, however.
