Antonio Conte is seriously considering a return to the Italy bench after his spell at Chelsea, according to reports.

The Coach confessed he regretted the decision to walk away from the Azzurri during their Euro 2016 campaign, but had already signed for the Premier League outfit.

He went on to win the English title at his first attempt, but in recent months the rapport has been tense, particularly with regards to transfer strategy.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Conte is now giving serious thought to a Nazionale comeback.

Italy are without a Coach since Giampiero Ventura was fired for failing to reach the 2018 World Cup and are not expected to appoint anyone until June.

That’s because the FIGC – Italian Football Federation – is awaiting elections on January 29.

While Paris Saint-Germain have also been heavily linked with an approach for Conte, he would relish a return to the Azzurri bench in order to try again for Euro 2020.
