Aston Villa’s Jordan Veretout is having his Fiorentina medical, ahead of a €7m transfer.
The midfielder joined the Villains in 2015, but spent last season on loan at Saint-Étienne following the Birmingham club’s relegation.
It was expected that he would move back to Ligue 1 on a permanent basis, but the Viola made their move last week.
This morning Veretout has arrived to take his medical, telling fans “Forza Fiorentina, I’m very happy to be here in Florence”.
