All reports point towards the Italy international wanting a move to Juventus for €40m plus bonuses and a player, either Stefano Sturaro or Tomas Rincon.
There are other clubs interested in the 23-year-old, such as Inter, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
“Juventus? Federico is part of Italian football heritage and we have the privilege of his presence. We’ll see what to do…”
The technical director also touched upon other areas of debate, such as Kalinic and Borja Valero.
“Milan made us an offer for Kalinic, but we turned it down. I didn’t even want to listen to it, nor sit down at the table. I told them to think about other players. As far as we are concerned, he is not for sale.
“We’ve been clear and honest since the start, not just with him, but with all those who are not on the market. We want players who are motivated and happy.
“We listened to him, I’ve already met Borja’s agent who, as in previous transfer sessions, brought along various proposals. He told me that the player wants Inter, yesterday the Nerazzurri called me and they want him too.
“Tomorrow we’ll talk to the player directly and see if he wants to join Inter.”
Yesterday the Viola released a statement threatening legal action against Borja Valero after an audio recording of the player complaining Fiorentina were trying to force him out.
