Italy national team head coach Luciano Spalletti was a special guest at Milan’s training centre, Milanello, on Tuesday, as the CT continues his ‘tour’ of Serie A clubs ahead of the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany this summer.

Spalletti is visiting as many Italian sides as he can ahead of the Euros, getting a behind-the-scenes look at a number of his potential international squad members as they train at club level.

The former Napoli coach was spotted in conversation with his old Milan counterpart Stefano Pioli during Tuesday’s session. The two spoke at great length, according to reports from TMW.

Other pictures that have been published by the FIGC show Spalletti giving a big hug to the 2021-22 Serie A MVP, Rafael Leao.

The Rossoneri have just a handful of Italy internationals past and present at their disposal, but some are still in with a shout of making the final Euros squad, including captain Davide Calabria and fellow full-back Alessandro Florenzi.
