Cesare Casadei thanks Chelsea fans for their ‘love and support’ and hopes to see them soon, suggesting that he wants to remain at the club in 2024-25.

The promising Italian midfielder was introduced as a substitute from the bench in Chelsea’s final Premier League game of the campaign against Bournemouth on Sunday, seeing the Blues secure a 2-1 win.

After the final whistle, he sent a message to his club and their fans, suggesting that he wants to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer.

“Three solid points as we come to the end of the season. Thank you for the Love and support. I hope to see you all soon,” the 21-year-old wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Casadei made 11 Premier League appearances with Chelsea this term.

Casadei had started the season on loan at Leicester City, but Chelsea brought him back at the end of the 2024 January transfer window.

A U21 Italy international, Casadei is among the most promising Italian midfielder, and it’s no coincidence that he won the Player of the Tournament award at the U20 World Cup, which Italy lost in a Final against Uruguay last year. Casadei was also the best scorer in the competition.
