Former Juventus President Andrea Agnelli taunted Inter after the Nerazzurri won the Serie A title last night, writing in Roman numerals the day the Bianconeri won their 20th Scudetto 42 years ago.
Inter became Serie A champions last night after a 2-1 win over city rivals Milan at the Stadio Meazza.
There have been plenty of reactions, on and off the pitch and one of those came from ex-Juventus President Agnelli.
The former Bianconeri chief took to his official X account, writing some Roman numerals and Juventus’ motto ‘Fino Alla Fine’
Agnelli taunts Inter after Serie A title victory
What did Agnelli mean? The date written by the former Juventus President is May 16 1982, not a random date, but when the Bianconeri won their 20th Scudetto 42 years ago.
Inter secured their 20th domestic title and a second star, but Agnelli highlighted that the Bianconeri achieved the same over 40 years ago.
The 48-year-old stepped down as the Juventus President in November 2021 after leading the Bianconeri in one of the most successful eras in their history, with nine consecutive Serie A titles from 2012 to 2020.
