Fiorentina midfielder David Pizarro said winning the Copa America with Chile “is what I dreamed of.”

He came out of international retirement to take part in the tournament, which saw La Roja beat Argentina on penalties in the Final.

“I will take this victory with me always,” Pizarro told reporters.

“Ending my experience with the national team like this is what I dreamed of.”

He hasn’t yet decided his Fiorentina future either, as his contract with the club expired on July 1.
