The midfielder was caught on camera with blood streaming from his nose after Saturday’s Ligue 1 win over Bastia.
Brandao waited for Thiago Motta in the tunnel, headbutted him and ran off, but it was all captured by television cameras.
This evening Paris Saint-Germain confirmed x-rays had shown a fractured nose and medical staff are not yet clear on how long Thiago Motta will take to recover.
PSG are calling for a lifetime ban on Brandao, but in reality he risks up to two years out of the game.
