“We have ended a great championship, very important. To confirm ourselves at this level after many injuries was almost miraculous,” Della Valle has told reporters this week.
“The group has been the real strength of the team, not only the individuals who have made the difference.
“And for the fans who have given so much strength to continue this project, there is still much to do.”
Speculation has been centred on whether Vincenzo Montella would continue as Coach, or leave to seek a new project elsewhere, with Milan suggested.
“We have clarified with the Coach, there has been much talk. Often when you are young you can make mistakes and particularly when you are a Coach.
“We want to maintain this beautiful reality. This is not with a leap in quality, we must maintain our current path. The club has very clear ideas, the city is calm.
