Lazio take on Verona with teenager Keita Balde Diao against Luca Toni in what is effectively a Europa League play-off.
It kicks off at 18.00 UK time (17.00 GMT), click here for a match preview.
Both clubs are locked together on 52 points, so must win to stay in the hunt for a place on the continent next season.
The table is extremely tight with six teams within a five-point radius fighting for two places.
As ever, Lazio have injury problems to contend with, as Miroslav Klose is only fit for the bench with Federico Marchetti, Helder Postiga and Ederson unavailable.
Second choice goalkeeper Etrit Berisha starts, although he too is suffering from back pain.
In Klose’s absence, Keita and Antonio Candreva support ‘False 9’ Stefano Mauri in a trident attack.
Verona are without Domenico Maietta, Raphael Martinho, Massimo Donati and Bosko Jankovic.
Romulo has now shaken off his injury for a spot on the bench, while Roma-owned Marquinho and Juan Iturbe support veteran hitman Toni.
It has been a remarkable campaign for 36-year-old Toni, who scored 19 goals in Serie A this season. He thought it was 20, but last week one of his two strikes was controversially registered as an own goal because it ricocheted off the back of the goalkeeper after hitting the bar.
Pillud is given the nod at right-back instead of Fabrizio Cacciatore.
