Edy Reja believes Lazio “are still alive and kicking” for Europe after a dramatic 3-3 draw with Torino.
The Aquile had been leading twice, yet only grabbed a point with the last kick of the game at the Stadio Olimpico.
“We are still alive and kicking,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia of their Europa League chances.
“Unfortunately, we always seem to end games a man down and we were facing a very organised Torino side.
“We went in front twice and were unable to hold on to that result due to defensive errors. With a little more concentration we could’ve avoided those goals.”
The Easter weekend results leave Lazio and Torino on 49 points, still two shy of sixth place.
“We’ll do everything possible to make up for this setback, even if we really should’ve won today.”
