Bad news for Genoa fans as goalkeeper Mattia Perin has gone down in training with the Italy Under-21 squad today with a knee injury.
The Azzurini have met up for a midweek training camp at Coverciano over the past few days, but it have been revealed this afternoon that shot-stopper Perin was forced to leave the session with a knee knock.
There is no official word on the severity of the injury at the moment, but Calcio News report that he is almost certain to miss the Grifone’s match with Inter this weekend.
Perin has been ever-present for the Marassi outfit this term, conceding 24 goals in 19 Serie A matches.
