Morgan De Sanctis says it is still too soon to suggest Roma will be fighting for the Scudetto this season.

Despite the club’s 100 per cent record after seven games in which they have conceded just one goal, goalkeeper De Sanctis is keeping his feet on the ground.

“Let’s calm down when it comes to the title,” he told Il Mattino ahead of Friday’s game against his former club Napoli.

“The objective is another and it is very clear – we have to return to Europe because a side like Roma can’t be missing from European competition for three years.

“Let us wait and see where we are at the halfway point of the season before understanding whether we should raise the bar.

“If we still find ourselves up there then nobody, from the Coach to the players, will sit back.

“For me, Juventus” data-scaytid=”6″>Juventus still remain the favourites because they have Antonio Conte as their Coach for the third season running.”

Roma are top of the table, two points clear of Napoli and Juventus.
