Genoa captain Daniele Portanova has hailed the impact Gian Piero Gasperini has had on the team since his arrival.
The Coach was brought in to replace Fabio Liverani earlier this month after a poor start to the season, and the defender has claimed that the former Inter man has already made a difference.
“Gasperini has had a very positive impact,” he told the club’s official website.
“I’ve been surprised to see how the team, in such a short time, has already adopted some of his ideas.
“It’s going to be a long road, but I’m sure it’ll be worth it in the end.”
