Tottenham are interested in Fredy Guarin, but it’s reported Anzhi met with Inter for the Colombian midfielder.
Guarin has long been linked with Spurs, where he would reunite with former Porto manager Andre Villas-Boas.
There were rumours in the Italian media this week that Inter had turned down a €20m offer from the London club.
However, this evening Sky Sport Italia claim that Nerazzurri technical director Marco Branca met with Anzhi representatives at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan.
The offer from Anzhi was brought by intermediary Vlado Lemic, who was also attending today’s meeting between Milan and Carlos Tevez’s agent Kia Joorabchian.
Inter are already seeking a replacement for Guarin, as Cagliari confirmed talks with Branca over Radja Nainggolan.
“We had a nice chat,” said Cagliari President Massimo Cellino.
