Antonio Nocerino has conceded that he struggled to perform in Milan’s 4-2 win over Catania on Sunday night.
The Italian international, who hasn’t been assured of first team football this term, began the game but was replaced in the 67th minute by Giampaolo Pazzini.
“It was important to win and I’m happy with the result as Fiorentina were ahead of us, but I’m a bit less happy with my own performance as I could have done more,” he stated.
“I had a good first half, but I started to tire in the second,” the former Palermo man added. “I don’t have match fitness…”
Nocerino, 28, has started just 17 Serie A games this season.
