Juventus may be on the verge of winning their second consecutive Scudetto, but Arturo Vidal insists the road ahead is still long.
Juve need just one more point to win the championship, but their Coppa Italia campaign ended in the semi-finals against Lazio and their Champions League dream was shattered by Bayern Munich in the last eight.
“We still have to improve,” the Chilean international commented. “You always need to and that’s what we want to do, because our aim is to win everything.”
The 25-year-old was again decisive for the Old Lady on Sunday as he rippled the net in the 2-0 win over derby rivals Torino.
“It was a difficult game,” he added. “Torino played well and proved to be very well prepared tactically. It was tough – as it always is in derby matches.
“It was vital to win which means there’s really not a long way to go now. But there’s still one point to get so we have to keep preparing well and then play a great game against Palermo.
“After that, we can celebrate…”
Juve, 11 points clear of second-placed Napoli, will entertain relegation-threatened Palermo at the Juventus Stadium next weekend.
