The agent of Lazio defender Modibo Diakite has insisted that the only Italian side his client will move to is Napoli.
A proposed deal between the centre-back and the Partenopei has been heavily reported on for the last few months, but recent rumours have claimed that Roma could be interested in the France-born defender.
However, his representative has admitted that it is either Walter Mazzarri's side or somewhere else in Europe for the 26-year-old.
“It is impossible for Diakite to go to Roma,” Ulisse Savini told Radio Radio. It is not possible to go from one side of the city to the other.
“If he stays in Italy he will go to Napoli, or it will be abroad.”
Diakite's contract at Lazio runs out in June.
