Kwadwo Asamoah has welcomed transfer whispers linking Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez with a move to Juventus.
Forward Sanchez is a former teammate of Asamoah at Udinese and he could be made available for a move by the Nou Camp outfit at the end of this season.
“He possesses great quality,” the Ghana international told the Corriere dello Sport. “And he’s a really quick player too.
“Should he come here then he would be able to give us a helping hand.”
Meanwhile, a report in Tuttosport claims that Sanchez and his agent recently dined with Juventus midfielders Arturo Vidal and Mauricio Isla.
The Chilean internationals and the representative are said to have spent time together after the February 6 friendly in Madrid between Chile and Egypt.
Juve were linked with the forward in 2011, but he opted to join Barcelona instead after they agreed to pay almost €40m for his signature.
